"Labor and Liberal parties are corrupted down to the coal seams"

Luke Foley and Mike Baird have made no comment or commitment about continued long wall coal mining under the Sydney water catchments. This is a political conspiracy of silence and criminal negligence. It is as if it was not happening. The water catchment areas will be progressively ruined by subsidence. The amount of coal involved that corporations would have to give up access to insignificant compared to Australian total coal exports.  It is an example of dirty deals for for jobs and corporate favors made by political parties that have been under the influence of the coal lobby for far too long. Labor and Liberal parties are corrupted down to the coal seams, and their silence on this issue proves it. I have had no response from MPs from either party. I am furiously angry. I shall be saying this 50 times a day in public until I get satisfactory answers. The wetlands are unique ecosystems and are part of our global commons, and should not be ruined for short term profit.
